Jakarta Vertical Run is set to bring a new challenge to Indonesia’s sporting calendar. Taking place at Autograph Tower, Thamrin Nine Complex, this vertical running competition invites participants to push their physical endurance and mental strength to new heights.
On 15 November 2026, runners will take on more than 2,120 stairs across 106 floors. Rising approximately 385 metres, the challenge offers a distinctive way to experience one of Jakarta’s most prominent architectural landmarks.
A Challenge Above the City
Unlike conventional road races, tower running tests participants against a vertical course. Every step demands stamina, focus, and careful energy management.
At Autograph Tower, the challenge leads participants from the ground floor to the finish area on Level 106. The reward is more than completing the course. Successful participants can also enjoy panoramic views of Jakarta from an elevated vantage point.
The inaugural event forms part of the celebrations leading towards Jakarta’s 500th anniversary in 2027. It also brings Indonesia into the international tower running spotlight, connecting local participants with a growing global sporting discipline.
